Florence Adooni

Florence Adooni, born to Frafra parents in Kumasi, Ghana, bridges the cultural divide between the northern Frafra and southern Ashanti traditions. Her musical journey began in a local church choir, where her talent quickly led her to become the lead singer.
After school, Florence's passion for music continued to grow, leading to her first recording session, which resulted in the 2011 hit album Ho Sanga La Pa’aya. This success catapulted her to fame within the Frafra Gospel scene. In 2013, she released Da Sake (Never Give Up), catching the attention of German producer Max Weissenfeldt.
Max and Florence's collaboration began in 2014, when they toured Ghana with a 12-piece supergroup. This partnership led to international recognition, with Florence joining European tours and collaborating with artists like Jimi Tenor. Her first international release, Mam Pe’ela Su’ure (2021), solidified her global presence.
By 2023, Florence was performing at major European festivals, and in 2024, she and her band embarked on a 50+ concert tour across Europe. As anticipation builds for her upcoming full album, Florence Adooni continues to be a significant force in contemporary African music.

Mungo's Hi Fi formed in 2000 and have become one of the best loved reggae soundsystem crews in the world, both for their own productions and their outstanding DJ sets. 

This show will be powered by one of the world's finest dub soundsystems, Sinai Soundsystem, to ensure that the music is presented as it should be - with the finest clarity and heavy heavy bass!

Luzmira Zerpa is a prolific Venezuelan singer/songwriter based in the UK who has collaborated with the  likes of Marshall Allen (Sun Ra Arkestra), Orlando Julius and Mulatu Astatke. North Wales based Drymbago (pronounced Drum-bay-go) have quietly built a reputation for delivering some  of the hottest live Tropical dance-floor orientated music currently to be found in the UK. Inspired by the  rhythms and melodies of the Carribbean, Latin America and Africa the ten-piece create a unique take that is  inspired, joyful and respectful.

​Luzmira Zerpa and Drymbago first crossed tracks when they shared a stage at one of Sofrito’s legendary  Tropical Warehouse Bashes where Luzmira was performing with her band Family Atlantica and Quantic.  In recent years they began to perform together more frequently and are now writing and recording a new  album together for release later this year with a number of live shows booked across the UK.

Pete Josef performs his critically acclaimed 2015 album Colour with an inspired group of the UK’s finest jazz and soul musicians.
The band will perform the album in sequence, followed by a Part 2 of recent originals and some of the high energy dance collaborations Josef has become known for over the years with the likes of Roni Size, Jazzanova, Manu Delago, and alongside Darren Emerson in the lo-fi dance duo The White Lamp.

They loved it so much the last 2 years that Fairport asked if we can make it a yearly occurence! 
Fairport Convention have been entertaining music lovers for over half a century, with 2025 being their 58th anniversary! During that time the band that launched British folk-rock has seen many changes, but one thing has remained the same - Fairport’s passion for performance. This year’s Autumn Tour will present a mix of long-established Fairport favourites and some surprises from albums old and new. Fairport Convention have won a BBC Lifetime Achievement Award and Radio 2 listeners voted their ground-breaking album Liege & Lief 'The Most Influential Folk Album of All Time'. Their story has been celebrated with television documentaries on BBC Four and Sky Arts. The band features founding member Simon Nicol on guitar and vocals, Dave Pegg on bass guitar and vocals, Ric Sanders on violin, Chris Leslie on bouzouki, mandolin, banjo, fiddle, and vocals.
